NICOLE'S STORY
Nicole was diagnosed with stage 1 oncocytic adrenocortical carcinoma., chracterized by a Ki-67 prolifieration index of 50% and a mitotic rate of 45. She underwent 33 rounds of radiation, three years of oral chemotherapy (Mitotane), and participated in a case study led by a radiation oncologist to explore the effects of radiation on COVID-19. ​​

Nicole passionately advocates for self-advocacy in healthcare, encouraging others to take charge of their health journeys.

Nicole is a dedicated wife and mother of four from New York. She works in revenue management for Northwell Health, the largest healtcare system in the state.
